Employee Engagement eBook

Ben Eubanks is creating an ebook a month in 2011.
This month, the topic is employee engagement, and I’m in it, along with a handful of other awesome people. You’ll find personal stories about engagement and what it means, tips for companies on communication and culture, and some really great, specific how-to content.

Help Other HR Pros
Last year I pulled together 12 of HR’s leading thinkers in the free ebook, Do Amazing Things in 2010. People really liked the short, action-oriented format.
In January, I’m going to be releasing Do Amazing in 2011, and I want you to be a part of it.
Last year’s edition featured a small handful of HR bloggers. This year, I want to include posts from people like you – people who are in the trenches doing great stuff at their organizations all year long.
I don’t care if you have a blog or not. I don’t care if you’re an entry-level HR pro or a senior executive. If you’re helping people do amazing things, I want to hear about it.
The Guidelines
- You can write about anything HR-related. Focus on doing stuff.
- 400 words or less.
- No shameless self-promotion. (Talking about what you did is ok. Examples are great! Bragging is not.)
- You get a three sentence bio at the end with up to two links.
- Do Amazing Things is Creative Commons licensed. That means people can share the stuff in it on their own websites.
Send your submissions to chris@renegadehr.net. Make sure to include “Do Amazing Things” in the subject line.
UPDATE: One thing I forgot (for the second year in a row) – if you’re a blogger, I’d like an original piece. If it’s already run on your blog, I’m unfortunately not able to include it. If you want to share the post on your blog after the books gone live, that’s great.
