The Renegade HR Facebook Page

facebook

For the last few months, I’ve been experimenting with a Renegade HR Facebook page. Starting next week, I’m deleting the page.

I don’t want to make a big deal out of this, but I also didn’t want anyone who currently uses the page or noticed the link to it in the sidebar before to get confused. Here’s the rationale…

Right now, the page is kind of a lamer version of my Twitter account. I always forget to go on there, and quite frankly, I don’t like it as much as I like blogging or tweeting.

I had hoped that we would use it as a discussion forum, but our community seems to engage in discussions more here on Renegade HR and on Twitter than anything else – which is totally cool! But I feel bad keeping it out there and up and running since I neglect it so badly. I don’t think it’s a good representation of the quality you normally get from Renegade HR.

So I’m pulling it down.

If you’re currently one of the 130-ish people who are fans, I sincerely hope that you’ll connect and interact with me here, on Twitter and on LinkedIn.

Thank you!

Two weeks ago, I asked you to help me spread the word about Renegade HR.

Today, I wanted to say thank you!

Over the last two weeks, Renegade HR has added 60 new subscribers and seen a 25 percent increase in traffic. I couldn’t have done it without you.

I hope you’ll start getting more engaged in the conversation. If you have ideas about something I write about, I’d love for you to leave a comment. You can even do so anonymously.

Tried something really cool that worked well (or flopped horribly)? Tell me about it! Disagree with something I wrote? I’d like you to tell me that, too!

Thanks again, and have a great weekend!
