Renegade HR renews its focus (and becomes even awesomer?)

Over the last week or two, I’ve made a few changes and updates to Renegade HR. Here’s what’s going on.

This site’s number one focus is about helping you become an HR rockstar.

Renegade HR is a simple, no BS approach to human resources. Great human resource management is about hiring great people and helping them do kick-ass work that drives your business.

Articles are generally going to fall into one of five categories:

Expect to see more of my personality coming through in the writing. That means I’ll be saying things like “I pinky swear” and occasionally using non-HR words (like kick-ass).

This is a professional site, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun, right?

  3. Way to go, Chris! I love that you have such a clear mission statement. I know what to expect, and I’m looking forward to it.

    My personal blog has always improved when I’ve done this exercise. I think it does two things: it directs the blogger, helping us improve, and it directs the reader, so we know what to expect.

  5. Chris- I’ll agree w/Laurie, not sure you could be more awesome! I’ve been reading your blog all along and your approach to HR is one I am on board with. Thanks to people like you, who help get the word out to the rest of the HR community, HR will move farther away from a process/admin. focused function and closer to being rockstars. Love your kick-ass site!!
