Podcast Highlights
I think a lot of HR pros tend to measure without knowing the bottom-line impact to the business.
What does that mean? And what does it mean to the business. And if it doesn’t mean anything to the business, why are you measuring it?

Chris,
I just listened to the podcast you did w/Tim. Very interesting to hear his perspectives on metrics and diversity. I also agree with your point that many HR pros do not have a good grasp of statistics (my words, not yours). That is one thing I found that serves me well and has set me apart- a strong understanding of statistical analysis. I’d encourage anyone entering HR to add that skill to your base and over time, you’ll be able to add value by discussing metrics in a measurable way.

@Trish – Great tip, and I agree!
