The Short Bio

My name is Chris Ferdinandi. I’m a human resource and social media professional based in Boston, MA.

I’m also a clean hippie (I love recycling and taking showers), beach bum, weekend warrior, and musician.

Renegade HR is where I share ideas and insights on employer branding, culture and social media.

The (Slightly) Longer Bio

I’m a Human Resource Generalist at EMC Corporation, a global Fortune 500 company that helps organizations store and manage their digital data.

I’m a Community Manager for the Global Services Career Center, an employee development community on EMC’s internal social network. I create content and drive conversation around employee development for EMC’s 14,000 employee Global Services organization.

In plain English, I help employees develop the skills they need to become rockstars at EMC!

I have a bachelor of arts in anthropology, and a master of science in human resources and labor relations, both from the University of Rhode Island.

When I’m not doing HR stuff, you can find me bumming around on the beach, drinking wine, and hanging out with my wife and three furry children.
